Okas Live Search & Filter vs RT: Smooth Scroll To Topfor Shopify (2026)
Okas Live Search & Filter and RT: Smooth Scroll To Top both fall under the 'Search and navigation' category on Shopify, but they address drastically different aspects of the user experience. Okas Live Search & Filter is a comprehensive search and discovery solution aimed at improving product findability and providing data-driven insights. It focuses on enhancing the search functionality of a Shopify store with features like live search suggestions, product filters, and search analytics. This app is ideal for merchants with a large or complex product catalog who want to improve conversion rates by making it easier for customers to find what they're looking for. RT: Smooth Scroll To Top, on the other hand, offers a niche functionality – a customizable scroll-to-top button. It's designed for stores with long pages of content, offering a simple and immediate solution to improve navigation and user experience. The primary difference lies in their scope and complexity. Okas provides a suite of features related to search optimization, whereas RT focuses solely on providing a scroll-to-top functionality. Therefore, the ideal use case differs significantly. A merchant looking to fundamentally improve their store's search capabilities would benefit from Okas, while a merchant simply seeking to enhance user experience with a simple scroll-to-top button would find RT sufficient. The review count also suggests that Okas caters to a wider base of merchants than RT, possibly due to broader appeal and diverse features.
