Our Verdict
For merchants who prioritize ease of use, straightforward search functionality, and basic analytics, Okas Live Search & Filter is likely the better choice. Its emphasis on simple installation and providing essential search and filter features makes it suitable for smaller or less complex Shopify stores. The lower review count does not necessarily indicate a worse product, but rather possibly a more streamlined or focused offering that caters to a specific segment.
However, for merchants who need a more robust solution with advanced customization options, personalized recommendations, and the ability to tailor the search experience for international or specific business needs, Search & Discovery ‑ Visely would be a more suitable investment. While requiring potentially more setup and customization due to its broader feature set, Visely offers more control over the user experience and the potential to drive higher engagement and sales through targeted recommendations.
