Our Verdict
For merchants experiencing issues with their current search function or looking to upgrade the search experience of their customers, Omega Instant Search might be the more suitable choice. However, if the primary goal is to boost sales through strategically placed and intelligently generated related product recommendations, Recomatic Related Products is the clear winner, particularly given its focus on ease of use, customization, and detailed conversion tracking. Stores that have strong search functionality already might benefit from Recomatic's ability to upsell and cross-sell products. If a store needs both features, it's possible to implement both apps, although care should be taken to ensure they don't conflict with each other in any way.
Ultimately, Recomatic Related Products' perfect rating and clear value proposition centered around sales optimization makes it a compelling choice for merchants seeking a readily implementable solution to boost revenue. Omega Instant Search is better suited for merchants focused on the core search experience, if the features are worth the install.
