Omnisend Email Marketing & SMS vs Qikify Sales Pop up & Prooffor Shopify (2026)
Omnisend Email Marketing & SMS and Qikify Sales Pop up & Proof target different needs within the Shopify ecosystem. Omnisend positions itself as a comprehensive email and SMS marketing automation platform, focusing on list growth, email campaign creation, and personalized communication to drive sales. It provides tools for building email lists, creating visually appealing emails using pre-made templates, and automating marketing workflows like abandoned cart recovery and welcome sequences. A key differentiator is the inclusion of AI-powered features for generating email copy and subject lines. Qikify, on the other hand, is geared towards leveraging social proof, scarcity, and promotional tactics to boost conversions on a store. Its focus is on creating a sense of urgency and trust by showcasing recent sales, visitor counts, and offering promotions via popups and announcement bars. While it also includes popup capabilities for lead generation (newsletter signups, discount offers), its strength lies in its social proof and scarcity features, offering tools like sold counts and countdown timers. This makes it a more tactical solution aimed at immediate conversion optimization rather than long-term email marketing.

Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing building an email list and automating marketing communication, Omnisend Email Marketing & SMS is the clear choice. Its robust feature set for email and SMS campaigns, combined with list growth tools and AI assistance, offers a comprehensive solution for nurturing customer relationships and driving sales through personalized communication.
However, if the primary goal is to quickly boost conversions by leveraging social proof and scarcity, Qikify Sales Pop up & Proof offers a more focused and potentially easier-to-implement solution. Its features like sales popups, visitor counters, and countdown timers can create a sense of urgency and trust that encourages immediate purchases.
Common Questions
Which app is better for abandoned cart recovery?
Omnisend offers a one-click abandoned cart setup, making it a more seamless solution for dedicated abandoned cart email campaigns. Qikify might be able to create a similar effect with popups triggered by abandoned carts, but it isn't a built-in feature.
Which app is better for driving immediate sales increases?
Qikify is better suited for generating immediate sales increases due to its focus on social proof and scarcity. The visibility of recent purchases and limited-time offers can directly influence customer behavior.
Does Qikify offer email marketing?
Qikify allows you to collect email addresses with popups, but it doesn't provide email marketing campaign capabilities like Omnisend. Its email capture is more for list building than full-scale email marketing.
Does Omnisend offer social proof features like sale notifications?
Omnisend does not inherently focus on social proof through sales popups or visitor counts. Its strength lies in personalized communications through emails and SMS messages.
Which app is better if I have very little marketing experience?
Qikify is potentially easier to get started with, as its features are more focused and don't require extensive marketing knowledge to implement. Omnisend, while offering templates, requires a deeper understanding of email marketing best practices to effectively leverage its full potential. However, Omnisend offers 24/7 support to assist users.
