OneClick Code Search vs ScrollerPro ‑ Infinite Scrollfor Shopify (2026)
OneClick Code Search and ScrollerPro ‑ Infinite Scroll, while both categorized under 'Search and Navigation' on the Shopify App Store, address fundamentally different needs for merchants in 2026. OneClick Code Search is positioned as a developer-centric tool that simplifies theme file code searching, a feature notably absent from Shopify's native functionality. Its strength lies in saving time and effort for merchants, particularly those comfortable working directly with theme code. ScrollerPro, conversely, targets merchants focused on improving the customer browsing experience on collection pages. It enhances product discovery and engagement by implementing infinite scroll, lazy loading, and customizable scroll bar designs. The primary divergence lies in their target audiences and value propositions. OneClick Code Search caters to merchants, developers, or agencies needing to quickly locate specific text within their theme files for debugging, customization, or migration purposes. ScrollerPro is geared towards merchants with large product catalogs who want to create a seamless and visually appealing browsing experience to boost sales by increasing product visibility and minimizing interruptions. Ease of use is a key consideration for both; OneClick Code Search emphasizes its simplicity, while ScrollerPro highlights its quick setup and 24/7 live chat support.

Our Verdict
Choosing between OneClick Code Search and ScrollerPro ‑ Infinite Scroll depends entirely on a merchant's specific needs. If a merchant frequently works with theme code and requires a fast, efficient way to search for text within theme files, OneClick Code Search is the clear choice. Its straightforward functionality directly addresses this pain point. On the other hand, if a merchant is primarily concerned with enhancing the shopping experience on their collection pages and wants to encourage customers to view more products, ScrollerPro is the more suitable option. Its features like infinite scroll, lazy loading, and customizable scroll bars directly contribute to increased engagement and potentially higher sales conversions. Given the lower review count for both apps, merchants should consider exploring free trials or demos to ensure the apps fit their specific store configurations.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to use for a non-technical merchant?
While OneClick Code Search emphasizes simplicity, its utility is limited for merchants unfamiliar with theme code. ScrollerPro, with its quick setup and 24/7 live chat, likely offers a smoother experience for non-technical merchants who prioritize improving the customer-facing aspects of their store.
Which app will have a more direct impact on sales?
ScrollerPro is designed to directly impact sales by making product discovery easier and more engaging. OneClick Code Search, while valuable, has an indirect impact by improving developer efficiency, which *can* indirectly lead to a better storefront and improved sales in the long run, but it is not guaranteed.
Can I use both apps together on my Shopify store?
Yes, the two apps serve distinct purposes and can coexist on the same Shopify store. One focuses on backend code management, while the other enhances the frontend browsing experience.
Which app requires more ongoing maintenance?
OneClick Code Search likely requires minimal ongoing maintenance after installation as it is a search utility. ScrollerPro, due to its frontend integration and potential conflicts with theme updates, might require occasional adjustments to maintain optimal performance and compatibility.
Do either of these apps offer a free trial or free plan?
The provided information does not mention whether either app offers a free trial or a free plan. Merchants should check the app listings on the Shopify App Store for the most up-to-date pricing and trial information.
