Our Verdict
For most Shopify merchants in 2026, RT: Disable Right Click appears to be the stronger option. The large number of reviews gives more confidence in its functionality and reliability. While Ongoing Disable Right Click has a perfect rating, the extremely low review count makes it difficult to assess its true performance and suitability for a wider audience. RT: Disable Right Click's detailed feature list, including PrintScreen prevention and customizable alert messages, also offers a more robust content protection solution.
Merchants who value comprehensive protection against various copying methods and are concerned about the SEO impact of duplicated content should strongly consider RT: Disable Right Click. Ongoing Disable Right Click might be suitable for merchants seeking a very basic solution and are willing to take a risk on a relatively untested app, but RT: Disable Right Click provides a significantly safer and more complete solution.
