Ongoing Disable Right Click vs Verdivo ‑ Chargeback Managerfor Shopify (2026)
Ongoing Disable Right Click and Verdivo ‑ Chargeback Manager, while both categorized under 'Fraud' in the Shopify app store, address very different aspects of online business protection. Ongoing Disable Right Click aims to prevent content theft by disabling right-click functionality, likely appealing to merchants concerned with protecting images or text content. On the other hand, Verdivo focuses on chargeback management, automating responses, syncing data with payment processors, and utilizing services like Verifi RDR and Ethoca to recover lost revenue and avoid future chargebacks. Verdivo's strength lies in its comprehensive, automated approach to chargeback handling. Its integration with major payment processors suggests a broader applicability across different business setups. The core value proposition of Verdivo is time savings and increased revenue recovery. Ongoing Disable Right Click's strength is simplicity, offering a basic but potentially effective measure against casual content copying, suitable for merchants prioritizing basic website security. Our Verdict
Ongoing Disable Right Click is a niche app, likely suitable only for merchants primarily concerned about preventing basic content theft. Given the lack of details, it's hard to recommend in most cases. The very low review count is worrying. Verdivo ‑ Chargeback Manager, on the other hand, offers a comprehensive solution for a more common problem: chargebacks. If a merchant is struggling with chargebacks and losing revenue, Verdivo would likely be the superior choice, automating a time-consuming process and potentially recovering significant revenue.
Ultimately, the choice depends heavily on the specific needs of the Shopify store. If content theft is a primary concern, Ongoing Disable Right Click could be a basic solution. However, for most merchants, addressing the financial impact of chargebacks through Verdivo's automated system would likely offer a greater return on investment.
