Parcel Panel Order Tracking vs Postly: Click and Drop Syncfor Shopify (2026)
Parcel Panel Order Tracking and Postly: Click and Drop Sync, while both fitting into the 'Orders' and 'Shipping' categories on Shopify, address very different needs. Parcel Panel is a general order tracking solution for enhanced customer experience, while Postly is a specialized integration designed solely for merchants heavily reliant on Royal Mail's Click & Drop service. The primary difference lies in their scope: Parcel Panel focuses on providing a broad tracking solution applicable to various carriers, whereas Postly streamlines the Royal Mail fulfillment process. The strengths of Parcel Panel reside in its wide applicability and popularity, indicated by its significantly higher review count. This suggests a more mature product with a larger user base and potentially more features related to overall order tracking beyond just Royal Mail. Postly, on the other hand, excels in its tight integration with Royal Mail's ecosystem, automating label printing and shipping workflows specifically for that carrier. The value proposition of Postly is centered around time savings and efficiency improvements for Royal Mail users, while Parcel Panel aims to improve customer satisfaction through comprehensive order tracking. Choosing between the two depends entirely on the merchant's shipping needs. If the merchant primarily uses Royal Mail and wants to automate the process, Postly is the clear choice. If the merchant uses multiple carriers and needs a comprehensive order tracking solution for all shipments, Parcel Panel is a better fit.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants primarily utilizing Royal Mail and seeking to automate their Click & Drop workflow, Postly: Click and Drop Sync is the superior choice. Its direct integration and two-way sync capabilities will significantly reduce manual work and potential errors in label creation and dispatch confirmation.
However, if the merchant employs a variety of shipping carriers and desires a comprehensive order tracking solution applicable across all providers, Parcel Panel Order Tracking offers a more robust and versatile platform. While Postly excels in its niche, Parcel Panel provides broader coverage and addresses the core need of keeping customers informed about their order's journey, making it the better option for businesses with diverse shipping needs and a focus on customer experience.
