Parcel Panel Order Tracking vs ShippingChimpfor Shopify (2026)
Parcel Panel Order Tracking and ShippingChimp both offer order tracking solutions on Shopify, but cater to distinct user segments. Parcel Panel boasts a large user base indicated by its substantial number of reviews (1947) and a 5-star rating, suggesting it's a well-established and widely trusted app. Its general 'Order Tracking' category suggests it's designed for a broad range of merchants. In contrast, ShippingChimp, despite also having a 5-star rating, has significantly fewer reviews (5) indicating that it may be a newer app, or aimed at a smaller niche. ShippingChimp is explicitly positioned as a shipping management solution specifically for Canadian eCommerce businesses. Its description and key features focus on simplifying shipping operations in Canada through carrier integration, automated label printing, and real-time tracking. Therefore, its value proposition centers around streamlining the entire shipping workflow, especially for Canadian merchants. While both apps offer order tracking, ShippingChimp includes automated label printing and batch order processing which appear to be absent from Parcel Panel.

Our Verdict
For general eCommerce merchants seeking a straightforward and widely-used order tracking solution, Parcel Panel Order Tracking is the likely better choice due to its established reputation and large user base. The high number of positive reviews suggests reliability and ease of use.
However, for Canadian eCommerce businesses specifically looking to simplify their entire shipping workflow, including label printing, carrier integration, and real-time tracking, ShippingChimp is the more targeted and potentially beneficial option. While it has fewer reviews, its features are tailored to the specific needs of Canadian merchants.
