Our Verdict
For a general eCommerce store needing flexible shipping rates and the ability to prevent cart abandonment, Parcelify is a suitable choice. Its universal shipping and rate merging capabilities make it a strong contender for merchants who need to set up different rates for various scenarios without CCS API requirements. However, if a business heavily relies on local delivery (like bakeries or flower shops) or requires extremely granular control over shipping based on zip codes, order delivery dates, and PO box restrictions, then Shipping & Delivery ‑ ShipZip is a better fit, assuming they are willing to implement the Carrier Calculated Shipping API. The higher number of reviews and perfect rating suggest generally better user satisfaction. In addition, ShipZip offers surcharge shipping, making it ideal for stores that need to add extra fees for large or heavy items.
