Partialy ‑ Partial Payment COD vs Store Creditfor Shopify (2026)
Partialy - Partial Payment COD and Store Credit serve vastly different purposes for Shopify merchants in 2026, despite both falling under the 'Payments' category. Partialy focuses on improving sales and reducing return-to-origin (RTO) rates by offering flexible payment options like partial payments, deferred payments, BNPL, and advanced COD rules. It targets merchants looking to increase conversion rates and mitigate risks associated with COD orders, particularly those operating globally and dealing with pre-orders or deferred payment campaigns. Store Credit, on the other hand, is designed to enhance customer loyalty and incentivize repeat purchases by providing store credit to customers. The key difference lies in their objectives: Partialy aims to facilitate initial sales and manage payment risks, while Store Credit concentrates on nurturing existing customers and driving repeat business. Partialy's advanced features around COD management and shipping rate configuration make it suitable for merchants prioritizing order fulfillment and payment security.
