Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants looking to offer flexible payment options like partial payments and enhanced COD rules, Partialy - Partial Payment COD is the better choice. Its focus on customer-facing payment options directly addresses the needs of businesses wanting to reduce RTO and improve sales through increased payment flexibility. The advanced COD rules and upfront payment options cater specifically to this niche.
However, if the primary need is to integrate and manage multiple payment gateways with comprehensive real-time monitoring, UnumPay is the superior solution. Its ability to connect with 40+ gateways through a single API and provide detailed revenue and transaction data makes it ideal for larger merchants processing payments through various systems. The no-code setup is also a significant benefit for those seeking ease of integration.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Based on the description, both apps strive for ease of use. UnumPay boasts a 'quick, no-code setup,' implying a simple installation process. Partialy's description mentions 'style button according to your theme' which hints at a more visually integrated setup and potentially easier customization for the merchant's brand. However, the lack of reviews for Partialy makes this assessment harder.
Can both apps be used together?
Potentially, but it might be redundant. UnumPay's broad payment gateway integration could theoretically include options for deferred payments or COD, making Partialy unnecessary. However, Partialy's granular COD rules might offer functionalities that UnumPay's general gateway integration doesn't cover. Careful assessment of overlapping features is advised.
Which app is better for international sales?
UnumPay likely offers better support for international sales due to its integration with 40+ payment gateways, including those commonly used in different countries. Partialy might be suitable if you only need to accept partial payments or COD in specific regions and these options are supported by your chosen gateways.
Which app is better for small businesses?
It depends on the priority. If a small business needs to offer flexible payment options like partial payments to increase sales, Partialy might be beneficial. However, if the small business struggles with managing multiple payment gateways or needs a streamlined payment process, UnumPay could be a better investment.
How secure are the payment processes with each app?
The descriptions do not explicitly mention security measures. For UnumPay, the security would largely depend on the security protocols implemented by the integrated payment gateways. For Partialy, details of the payment handling and COD security would need further investigation.
