Pay Later, Split Pay ‑ Cypher vs Qliro Extensionfor Shopify (2026)
Pay Later, Split Pay ‑ Cypher and Qliro Extension both fall under the 'Payment options - Other' category in the Shopify app store, but they address very different needs. Pay Later, Split Pay ‑ Cypher focuses on providing flexible payment options directly to merchants, allowing them to offer split payments, deposits, pay later options, and even COD through their platform, directly to their customers. This app caters to merchants selling higher-value items or pre-orders where payment flexibility can significantly increase sales and AOV. It emphasizes ease of use and direct integration with the store's theme. The app also streamlines Cash on Delivery (COD) orders. The Qliro Extension, on the other hand, acts as an enhancement to existing Qliro payment apps. Qliro Extension focuses on improving the presentation and management of Qliro payment options already offered by the store. It's designed for merchants who already utilize Qliro as a payment gateway and need greater control over how those options are displayed, translated, and promoted to customers. Qliro Extension's strength lies in its ability to tailor the Qliro payment experience for different markets and languages, and to integrate banner widgets to advertise payment methods. The key distinction is that Qliro Extension requires an underlying Qliro payment solution, while Pay Later, Split Pay ‑ Cypher, is a standalone solution offering multiple payment types.
