Our Verdict
For merchants selling high-value goods, pre-orders, or custom items, Pay Later, Split Pay ‑ Cypher appears to be the better choice, enabling flexible payment options to convert hesitant buyers. Its higher rating and positive reviews (although few) provide some confidence, despite the lack of broader user feedback. Razorpay Secure suits businesses seeking a comprehensive payment gateway to process standard transactions via various payment methods and prioritize streamlined onboarding and security. Given its zero rating and lack of reviews, however, choosing Razorpay Secure presents a higher risk unless further validation (such as independent reviews or case studies) becomes available.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Pay Later, Split Pay ‑ Cypher claims one-click setup and integration via theme customization. Razorpay Secure mentions seamless digital onboarding and digital KYC, which may involve more steps initially but potentially less ongoing maintenance, depending on the complexity of each process.
Which app is more suitable for international sales?
Razorpay Secure explicitly states support for international credit and debit cards, suggesting a better fit for international transactions. Pay Later, Split Pay ‑ Cypher does not specify international capabilities, so this should be verified before use.
Which app is more secure?
Razorpay Secure highlights PCI DSS Level 1 compliance, indicating a robust security framework. Pay Later, Split Pay ‑ Cypher does not mention specific security certifications, although card-on-file functionality necessitates strong security measures. Businesses must ensure that both apps adhere to required security standards.
What is the AOV impact of these apps?
Pay Later, Split Pay ‑ Cypher claims to increase AOV by allowing customers to buy high-value items with more flexible payment options. Razorpay Secure aims to increase conversion rates through a seamless checkout experience, indirectly improving AOV, but this is not its primary focus.
Can I use both apps together?
It's unlikely that you can directly use both apps together seamlessly.
