Payment Rules Hide PaymentHero vs ZipLinksfor Shopify (2026)
Payment Rules Hide PaymentHero and ZipLinks both aim to optimize the checkout experience on Shopify, but approach it from different angles. Payment Rules Hide PaymentHero focuses on providing merchants with granular control over payment methods, allowing them to hide, sort, or rename options based on customer segments or business needs. Its primary goal is to boost checkout conversion by presenting shoppers with only the most relevant payment options. In contrast, ZipLinks centers around creating personalized shopping experiences through shareable links that automatically preload carts with products, discounts, and order notes. It targets improved marketing and customer service communication to drive conversions by simplifying and personalizing the path to purchase. Hide PaymentHero targets merchants who want to fine-tune their payment gateway presentation to reduce checkout friction related to payment method overload. The app offers features like hiding irrelevant methods and prioritizing desired ones. ZipLinks, on the other hand, targets merchants looking to leverage targeted marketing and customer service initiatives with pre-populated carts, specifically focusing on improving campaign conversion rates through a more direct, personalized shopping experience. While both contribute to improved conversion, one focuses on reducing complexity during the payment process, and the other enhances pre-purchase experience through tailored promotions.
