Our Verdict
ReturnZap appears to be the safer choice for most Shopify merchants in 2026, given its established user base and positive reviews. Its focus on automation and ease of use makes it suitable for businesses of all sizes seeking a streamlined return process. Pinch AI, while promising, has no user reviews to validate its AI-powered approach. It might be a better fit for larger enterprises experiencing significant return fraud and abuse, who are willing to be early adopters and potentially invest more time and resources into setting up and understanding the AI-driven insights.
Ultimately, the decision depends on the specific needs and risk tolerance of the merchant. If a merchant is looking for a proven, reliable solution with a focus on automation and customer support, ReturnZap is the clear winner. If a merchant is facing significant return fraud and is willing to gamble on an unproven AI solution, Pinch AI might be worth exploring once it has some user reviews and a proven track record.
