Pop Convert ‑ Pop Ups, Banners vs Qikify Sales Pop up & Prooffor Shopify (2026)
Pop Convert and Qikify both aim to enhance Shopify stores through pop-ups, banners, and promotional features, but they emphasize different aspects. Pop Convert focuses primarily on lead capture and traffic redirection using highly customizable pop-ups, smart bars, and a drag-and-drop editor, giving merchants precise control over visual presentation and messaging. It's geared towards businesses prioritizing comprehensive customization options for their pop-up campaigns. On the other hand, Qikify leans heavily into social proof and scarcity tactics alongside lead capture. It incorporates features like recent purchase notifications, visitor counters, and countdown timers to build trust and create a sense of urgency. Qikify is a more holistic solution for merchants looking for a combined approach of social proof, urgency cues, and basic lead generation, while Pop Convert provides a more in-depth and customizable lead generation experience. Qikify seems ideal for new stores needing to quickly establish credibility through perceived activity. Pop Convert targets merchants who already have established traffic and want a sophisticated toolkit for driving specific actions and conversions through precisely designed pop-ups and bars.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants seeking advanced customization and precise control over the appearance and targeting of their pop-ups and banners, Pop Convert is the better choice. Its drag-and-drop editor and extensive customization options allow for creating unique and engaging experiences. However, if the priority is building trust and creating a sense of urgency with social proof, Qikify is more suitable. Its features like Recent Purchases and Visitor Counter offer immediate benefits for new stores looking to establish credibility.
Ultimately, the choice depends on the specific needs and marketing strategy of the Shopify merchant. If a merchant already has a solid customer base and simply needs pop-ups and bars that convert leads effectively, Qikify may suffice. If the merchant needs a highly customizable and specialized solution for driving traffic to specific pages with specific promotions, Pop Convert will likely be more effective.
