POS2B: Native POS B2B Pricing vs Progus Store Locator Mapfor Shopify (2026)
POS2B: Native POS B2B Pricing and Progus Store Locator Map are Shopify apps that, while sharing the "Selling in person" category, cater to drastically different needs. POS2B targets a highly specific niche: Shopify Plus merchants who need to apply B2B catalog pricing in their physical stores via POS. Its core strength lies in leveraging native Shopify Plus B2B Catalogs, enabling in-store B2B pricing application with minimal setup for this specific scenario. However, its limitation to Plus merchants, lack of support for volume pricing/quantity rules, and extremely low review count indicate a limited and potentially nascent offering. Its rating is also significantly lower at 3/5 with a single review. In stark contrast, Progus Store Locator Map aims for a broader audience: any Shopify merchant with physical store locations. Its value proposition centers around enhancing the customer experience by making it easy to find stores, thereby potentially increasing in-store sales and reducing customer support inquiries. Progus boasts a significantly higher rating (5/5) based on a substantial number of reviews (58), highlighting user satisfaction. Its features include customizable maps, a bulk import system, advanced analytics, multilingual support, and ease of use (no API key required). Thus, it focuses on helping customers find your store and provides comprehensive customization options.

Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Progus Store Locator Map likely offers a smoother initial setup, as it explicitly states 'No API KEY required'. POS2B's setup relies on the assumption that you already have Shopify Plus and B2B Catalogs set up.
Which app has better customer support?
Based on the available data, it's difficult to definitively say. However, Progus's higher review count suggests more users and potentially a larger support infrastructure. The single review for POS2B gives less indication of the quality of support.
Does POS2B support volume pricing?
No. The description explicitly states, "volume pricing and quantity rules are not currently supported."
Can I use Progus Store Locator Map if I only have one physical store?
Yes! While it's beneficial for multiple locations, Progus can also effectively showcase a single store location to potential customers.
Which app offers more data analytics?
Progus Store Locator Map provides 'Advanced analytics' allowing you to understand where customers are searching. POS2B does not explicitly mention analytics features.
