Our Verdict
For businesses deeply integrated with PostNord and seeking straightforward automation of label creation, tracking updates, and customs documentation, PostNord by SYNKA+ is the clear choice. Its focus on PostNord streamlines the shipping workflow. However, for merchants needing granular control over their shipping rates, custom delivery options based on product types, location, or time, Shipping & Delivery ‑ ShipZip offers a more powerful and flexible solution. If your shipping needs extend beyond basic carrier automation and require complex rules, ShipZip is the better investment.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
PostNord by SYNKA+ is likely easier to set up if you primarily use PostNord, as it's built specifically for that service. Shipping & Delivery ‑ ShipZip, with its complex rules engine, requires more configuration.
Which app is better for international shipping?
While both apps support international shipping, PostNord by SYNKA+ explicitly mentions automatic CN22/23 document creation, a key feature for international orders using PostNord. Shipping & Delivery ‑ ShipZip handles international shipping costs based on the custom rules you set up, but doesn't specify document creation.
Does Shipping & Delivery ‑ ShipZip integrate with PostNord?
Shipping & Delivery ‑ ShipZip requires the Carrier Calculated Shipping API. If PostNord provides rates through this API, it *could* integrate, but it's not a direct integration like PostNord by SYNKA+.
Can I use both apps at the same time?
Potentially, but it may be redundant. If you primarily use PostNord, SYNKA+ handles the core shipping tasks. ShipZip could *potentially* be used for niche cases like weekend delivery surcharges, but careful configuration would be needed to avoid conflicts.
Which app is better for a bakery offering local delivery?
Shipping & Delivery ‑ ShipZip, with its features like 'Local delivery & store pickup for Bakery/Flower shop with Order Delivery Date', is specifically designed for this scenario.
