POWR: Customer Support Request vs Trusted Help Center & FAQfor Shopify (2026)
POWR: Customer Support Request and Trusted Help Center & FAQ represent distinctly different approaches to customer support on Shopify. POWR positions itself as a simplified alternative to traditional helpdesk software, focusing on streamlining support request submissions and integrating with existing CRM systems. It appears geared towards merchants needing a centralized dashboard for managing support inquiries without a complex helpdesk setup. In contrast, Trusted Help Center & FAQ emphasizes self-service support through the creation of SEO-optimized FAQ pages and a customizable help center. Its target audience seems to be merchants prioritizing proactive customer support and improved search visibility. The key divergence lies in their operational models. POWR focuses on *receiving* and managing support requests, offering features like instant alerts and conditional logic for segmentation. Trusted Help Center & FAQ, on the other hand, concentrates on *preventing* support requests by providing readily available answers to common questions through FAQs embedded across various store pages (product, collection, blog). This makes Trusted Help Center & FAQ a solution for reducing support volume, while POWR appears aimed at efficiently handling unavoidable inquiries. Ultimately, they offer solutions for different customer support strategies, one proactive and preventative, and the other reactive and focused on efficiency.

Our Verdict
Trusted Help Center & FAQ is the clear choice for merchants prioritizing proactive customer support, wanting to reduce support ticket volume, and improve their store's SEO. The 5-star rating and numerous reviews indicate strong user satisfaction. Its ease of use and focus on self-service support make it suitable for businesses of all sizes.
POWR: Customer Support Request is a more niche solution, best suited for merchants already using a CRM system like Zendesk or Salesforce and looking for a lightweight way to funnel support requests into those systems. However, the lack of reviews and a 0-star rating raise concerns about its reliability and functionality. Without positive user feedback, it's difficult to recommend POWR over more established and highly-rated alternatives unless a merchant has a very specific need for its integration capabilities.
