PricePanda ‑ Price Per Unit vs Request For Quote by CCfor Shopify (2026)
PricePanda ‑ Price Per Unit and Request For Quote by CC address entirely different needs for Shopify merchants. PricePanda focuses on enhancing pricing transparency, particularly for wholesale or bulk sales, by displaying unit prices in a customizable format. It aims to increase sales by making it easier for customers to understand and compare product value based on quantity. Its strength lies in its automated, no-code approach, allowing merchants to quickly implement unit price displays across their store without manual intervention. Request For Quote by CC, conversely, targets merchants who require a more personalized, negotiation-based sales process. This app enables customers to request quotes for products, concealing details and facilitating communication through customizable email request forms. Its focus is on elevating customer engagement through personalized interactions, offering merchants flexibility in customizing the quote request process and tailoring email templates. It caters to a very different set of needs than PricePanda, aiming to facilitate discussions and potentially higher value sales rather than streamlining price comparison for bulk purchases.

Our Verdict
PricePanda ‑ Price Per Unit is the clear choice for merchants selling wholesale products, bulk items, or items measured in variable quantities (like fabrics or liquids). Its high rating and positive reviews suggest it effectively delivers on its promise of easy unit price display, boosting transparency and sales. Request For Quote by CC, with its low rating and limited reviews, seems significantly less reliable.
However, if a merchant's business model relies heavily on personalized quotes and negotiation, particularly for high-value or custom products where a set price isn't feasible, Request For Quote by CC *might* be worth exploring, though significant caution is advised due to the extremely low rating. Merchants using Request For Quote should very carefully evaluate and test the app to ensure it doesn't negatively impact their customer experience.
