Pricing A/B Testing vs Quick Quotefor Shopify (2026)
Pricing A/B Testing and Quick Quote both address pricing concerns for Shopify merchants but cater to vastly different needs and business models. Pricing A/B Testing is focused on data-driven price optimization for increased sales and profits, enabling merchants to test different price points and analyze the impact on conversions and revenue. It targets merchants who want to automate pricing decisions based on A/B testing. Quick Quote, on the other hand, facilitates customized quote requests from customers directly through the cart, allowing merchants to offer personalized pricing and discounts, primarily intended for merchants who deal with complex orders or require negotiation with customers. Quick Quote emphasizes direct customer interaction and negotiation, while Pricing A/B Testing focuses on automated, data-driven pricing adjustments. The number of reviews indicates significantly more merchants have found Quick Quote valuable and have shared their experiences. The Pricing A/B Testing app, while new, aims to improve pricing strategies using quantitative analysis. The primary differentiator is the approach: Pricing A/B Testing employs experimentation and analytics, while Quick Quote relies on personalized quotes and customer interaction. Merchants must evaluate their business model and pricing strategy to determine which app aligns best with their needs.

Our Verdict
For merchants selling relatively standardized products and aiming to optimize pricing for higher sales and profit, Pricing A/B Testing is the better choice. Its data-driven approach allows for continuous improvement and minimizes the need for manual price adjustments. However, due to the low review count, it's crucial to monitor its performance closely after implementation.
Quick Quote is better suited for businesses offering custom products, large orders, or services requiring tailored pricing. The ability to provide custom quotes and negotiate pricing enhances the customer experience and can lead to higher close rates for complex sales. The higher number of reviews suggests greater reliability and a proven track record, but the manual quote process may increase operational overhead. Quick Quote is the clear winner for merchants requiring a quote request feature.
