Product Hider vs Recomatic Related Productsfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, the choice between Product Hider and Recomatic Related Products is heavily skewed in favor of the latter. Product Hider, with a rating of 0/5 and zero reviews, suggests either a very new app, an abandoned project, or an app with significant performance issues. Recomatic Related Products, on the other hand, boasts a perfect 5/5 rating based on 108 reviews, indicating strong user satisfaction. Its core positioning revolves around enhancing the customer experience by offering AI-powered related product recommendations that seamlessly integrate with existing store themes and boost sales. It targets merchants who want to improve their on-site navigation, increase conversions, and reduce the need for manual merchandising efforts. The description highlights ease of installation, customization options (both automated and manual), and detailed conversion tracking. Recomatic Related Products offers a clear value proposition: increased sales and improved customer satisfaction through intelligently displayed related products. It explicitly states that its recommendations outperform those provided by standard themes, suggesting a superior algorithm or data analysis driving the related product choices. Product Hider's lack of any reviews or description leaves its functionality entirely unknown; it could be designed for a very niche purpose or simply be non-functional. This makes Recomatic a much safer and more practical choice for almost all Shopify merchants.

Our Verdict
Given the available data, Recomatic Related Products is the clear winner for most Shopify merchants in 2026. Its proven track record (5/5 rating, 108 reviews), well-defined features, and strong value proposition make it a significantly safer and more effective choice. It is particularly well-suited for merchants who want to leverage AI and data-driven insights to enhance their product discovery and drive sales.
Unless a merchant has a very specific and unique need for product hiding that isn't addressed by other Shopify features, and is willing to take a significant risk on an unproven app, Product Hider is difficult to recommend. The lack of reviews and any description of features makes it an extremely risky choice.
