Product Radar Dashboard vs Zigpoll Customer Surveysfor Shopify (2026)
Product Radar Dashboard and Zigpoll Customer Surveys both aim to improve Shopify merchant success via analytics, but they approach it from vastly different angles. Product Radar focuses on internal sales data and pricing, aiming to provide automated insights into product performance and pricing optimization. It's positioned as a hands-off solution for identifying trends and potential issues in historical sales data. Zigpoll, on the other hand, centers on gathering customer feedback through surveys deployed across various touchpoints like post-purchase, pre-purchase, email, and SMS. It emphasizes direct interaction with customers to understand their needs and pain points. The primary difference lies in the data source: Product Radar uses existing order and pricing history, while Zigpoll actively collects new zero-party data from customers. This difference dictates their suitability for different merchant priorities. Product Radar is best for merchants wanting automated, data-driven pricing and product analysis, while Zigpoll is aimed at those seeking to understand and react to customer sentiment and improve customer experience. Both fall under the 'Analytics' category in Shopify, but they provide fundamentally different types of analytical insights.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants primarily concerned with optimizing their product pricing and identifying sales trends without direct customer interaction, Product Radar Dashboard is the preferable choice. Its automated analysis and visual dashboard offer quick insights based on existing data. However, the significantly low number of reviews should raise caution.
If a merchant prioritizes understanding their customers' needs, addressing pain points, and improving the overall customer experience, Zigpoll Customer Surveys is the better option. Its ability to gather zero-party data through customizable surveys, coupled with AI analytics, provides a richer understanding of customer sentiment and offers actionable insights for marketing and business development. The high number of positive reviews adds credibility to the app's claims of effectiveness and ease of use.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Both apps claim to be easy to use. Product Radar mentions automatic processing, implying a hands-off approach after initial setup. Zigpoll emphasizes no-code setup, suggesting a user-friendly interface for creating and deploying surveys. Without a trial, it's hard to say definitively, but Zigpoll's mature review base suggests user-friendliness.
Which app provides more actionable insights?
Both apps offer actionable insights, but the type differs. Product Radar provides insights on pricing and product performance based on historical sales data. Zigpoll provides insights into customer opinions, preferences, and pain points. The "actionability" depends on the merchant's specific goals and priorities.
Does Product Radar Dashboard collect customer data?
Based on the description, Product Radar primarily processes order and pricing history. It does not explicitly state that it collects *new* customer data beyond what is already present in the store's existing Shopify data.
Is Zigpoll GDPR compliant?
The provided descriptions do not mention GDPR compliance. Merchants should verify GDPR compliance with Zigpoll directly before installation, especially when gathering customer data.
Which app is more suitable for a new Shopify store?
