Our Verdict
For merchants primarily selling to individual consumers (B2C) who struggle with high return rates or customer hesitation, Product Samples by Luke is likely the better choice. Its established positive reputation and focus on customer satisfaction through sample offerings can significantly reduce risk and build trust. The detailed app's metrics would be a great addition.
For businesses engaged in B2B or wholesale, where volume discounts are a common practice, Product Volume Discounts offers a more tailored solution. Its features like customer segmentation and POS compatibility make it ideal for managing tiered pricing structures efficiently. The lack of reviews is a concern, so thorough testing or waiting for user feedback is recommended before widespread implementation. However, the potential to increase AOV through clear bulk pricing is substantial.
