Our Verdict
For merchants selling products where a 'try before you buy' experience is crucial (e.g., cosmetics, food items, fabrics), Product Samples by Luke is the clear winner. The ability to offer free or discounted samples directly addresses customer hesitation and can demonstrably increase sales and reduce returns.
However, if your business revolves around custom orders, bulk purchases, or products with highly variable configurations where pricing isn't fixed, YouQuote: Request a Quote Form is the better choice. It provides a streamlined way for customers to request personalized quotes, facilitating complex pricing negotiations and lead generation. While both have perfect ratings, consider which app best supports your specific product type and sales strategy.

'Product Samples simply provides an extra feature' suggests Product Samples is simpler. 'Request a Quote Form' also sounds straightforward, but its complexity might depend on the level of customization offered.
Which app provides better ROI for a clothing retailer?
It depends on the type of clothing. For standardized clothing items, Product Samples (offering sample fabrics) might be more beneficial to reduce returns. For custom-made or bulk order uniforms, YouQuote would be better suited.
Does either app integrate with existing CRM systems?
The descriptions provided do not mention CRM integrations for either app. Further research would be needed to determine their integration capabilities.
Which app is more suitable for a dropshipping store?
Neither app is inherently better for dropshipping. Product Samples could work if the dropshipped products benefit from sampling and the supplier supports this. YouQuote could be useful if the dropshipping store offers product customization options.
How do these apps help retain customers?
Product Samples enhances customer satisfaction by letting them experience the product beforehand, reducing the risk of disappointment and fostering trust. YouQuote focuses on providing personalized pricing, which can build loyalty by showing customers they are getting the best possible deal. Both improve the shopping experience.
