Progus Store Locator Map vs Wholesale Wizardfor Shopify (2026)
Progus Store Locator Map and Wholesale Wizard, while both categorized under 'Selling in person' on Shopify, cater to vastly different merchant needs. Progus Store Locator Map focuses on enhancing the customer experience by facilitating easy discovery of physical store locations. It boasts a robust feature set including customizable map styles, bulk import capabilities, advanced analytics, and multilingual support, making it ideal for businesses with physical storefronts or dealer networks. Its primary strength lies in driving in-store sales and reducing customer support inquiries related to location information. Wholesale Wizard, on the other hand, is tailored for merchants operating in the wholesale sector. It offers tools to manage wholesale customers, inventory, and ordering, with a focus on implementing tiered pricing and customized discounts for different customer groups. Wholesale Wizard's key differentiators include features tailored for wholesale operations like setting different pricing volumes and discounts and establishing minimum quantity rules. This contrasts starkly with Progus Store Locator Map’s focus on geolocation and analytics. While both apps share a perfect 5/5 rating, the vastly different number of reviews (58 for Progus versus 1 for Wholesale Wizard) suggests a significantly larger user base and more established presence for Progus. A key consideration is the technical expertise. Progus Store Locator Map claims 'No API Key required', while Wholesale Wizard emphasizes 'quick installation,' suggesting both prioritize ease of setup, albeit for different functionalities.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on driving in-store traffic and providing location-based services, Progus Store Locator Map is the clear choice. Its focus on map customization, analytics, and ease of use makes it an invaluable tool for businesses with physical storefronts. The higher number of reviews suggests a more established and tested solution. Conversely, Wholesale Wizard is specifically designed for businesses engaged in wholesale activities, offering features like tiered pricing and customer group management that are crucial for optimizing wholesale operations. If your business model relies heavily on wholesale transactions, Wholesale Wizard is the more suitable option, despite its lower number of reviews. Consider carefully which business model best aligns with the app's core functionality.
