Pushy | Out Of Stock Push Down vs Shopify Knowledge Basefor Shopify (2026)
Pushy | Out Of Stock Push Down and Shopify Knowledge Base both aim to optimize the Shopify store experience but address entirely different pain points. Pushy focuses on optimizing product discovery by automatically pushing out-of-stock items to the bottom of collections, thereby ensuring that customers primarily see available products. This contributes to a cleaner browsing experience and potentially increased sales by directing shoppers toward immediately purchasable items. On the other hand, Shopify Knowledge Base addresses the emerging realm of AI-powered shopping, providing merchants with tools to monitor and customize the information AI agents use when interacting with customers about their store. Shopify Knowledge Base helps merchants understand how AI represents their brand and allows them to fine-tune FAQs to improve accuracy and highlight unique selling propositions. While Pushy is geared towards enhancing the immediate product browsing experience, Shopify Knowledge Base takes a more forward-looking approach, preparing merchants for a future where AI agents play a significant role in online shopping. Both apps share the 'Site optimization - Other' category, indicating that they contribute to improving the overall shopping experience, but they do so through vastly different mechanisms.
