PWC: Favicon Tab Animation vs XO Insert Codefor Shopify (2026)
PWC: Favicon Tab Animation and XO Insert Code both aim to enhance Shopify storefronts, but they cater to vastly different needs. PWC: Favicon Tab Animation focuses on re-engaging inactive customers through attention-grabbing favicon animations and customized tab titles. Its strength lies in its specific goal of reducing abandoned carts and increasing sales by attracting users back to the store. In contrast, XO Insert Code provides a general-purpose solution for inserting custom code snippets (HTML, CSS, Javascript, Liquid) into various parts of a Shopify store. The primary difference lies in their functionality. PWC targets user behavior and aims to influence it directly with visual cues, while XO Insert Code serves as a technical tool for implementing custom functionality or integrations. PWC is designed for merchants looking for a simple, visual way to improve engagement, while XO Insert Code is tailored for merchants who need granular control over their store's code and have the technical expertise (or a developer) to utilize it effectively.
