Quick Quote vs UnitWisefor Shopify (2026)
Quick Quote and UnitWise, while both categorized under 'Pricing' on the Shopify app store, serve fundamentally different purposes and target distinct merchant segments. Quick Quote focuses on enabling custom price negotiation, allowing customers to request quotes for products in their cart. Merchants can then respond with tailored pricing, discounts, and further communication to close the deal. In contrast, UnitWise concentrates on price transparency by displaying unit prices, volume, or weight alongside product listings. This aims to boost sales through perceived value and complies with regional pricing regulations.

Our Verdict
For merchants who need to offer custom pricing based on quantity, customization, or negotiation, Quick Quote is the clear choice. The ability to manage quote requests, offer discounts, and communicate directly with customers is invaluable in those scenarios. However, for merchants selling products by weight or volume where transparency and easy price comparison are important (or legally required), UnitWise is the better option. Its ease of use and data hosting within Shopify are also strong advantages. The low number of reviews on UnitWise should be taken into account; while it has a perfect rating, the sample size is small. Merchants are advised to test drive both apps during a free trial period, if available, to make a fully informed decision.
