Quotes Guru: RFQ & Hide Prices vs Wholesale Pricing Discount B2Bfor Shopify (2026)
Quotes Guru: RFQ & Hide Prices and Wholesale Pricing Discount B2B both address pricing complexities for Shopify merchants, but they cater to different needs. Quotes Guru focuses on Request for Quote (RFQ) functionality, allowing merchants to hide prices and engage customers directly to negotiate custom pricing. It's tailored for businesses needing bespoke quote generation, potentially in industries with complex product configurations or fluctuating costs. Wholesale Pricing Discount B2B, on the other hand, is geared towards managing wholesale operations within a retail store. It emphasizes tiered pricing, custom wholesale discounts, and tools to manage B2B customer onboarding and international wholesale, enabling merchants to sell both retail and wholesale from a single Shopify store. The primary difference lies in their core purpose: Quotes Guru is a quote management and lead generation tool, prioritizing price negotiation on a per-customer or per-product basis. It also includes features for customizing quote request forms and hiding prices to encourage inquiries. In contrast, Wholesale Pricing Discount B2B is a comprehensive wholesale management solution, allowing merchants to set different pricing tiers and provide specialized B2B features like net payment terms and registration forms. Quotes Guru leans into generating individualized pricing, where WPD is for managing predefined wholesale programs and discounts.

Our Verdict
For merchants requiring a robust Request for Quote system with customizable forms and the ability to hide prices, Quotes Guru is the stronger choice. Its focus on individual quote generation, draft order creation, and multi-language support makes it suitable for businesses that need a highly tailored approach to pricing. It likely streamlines the process of getting leads and closing custom deals. However, the low number of reviews should be noted; further research into user satisfaction is recommended.
If the primary goal is to manage wholesale pricing and B2B operations alongside retail sales, Wholesale Pricing Discount B2B is the better option. It provides a comprehensive suite of features for setting tiered discounts, onboarding wholesale customers, managing shipping rates, and supporting international sales. Its integration with Shopify POS also makes it valuable for businesses with both online and in-store wholesale operations. The high review count suggests a more established and widely used solution, although the slightly lower rating indicates potential areas for improvement.
