Razorpay COD & Magic Checkout vs Shipping Rates & Rule ‑ Shipfyfor Shopify (2026)
Razorpay COD & Magic Checkout and Shipping Rates & Rule ‑ Shipfy both enhance the Shopify checkout experience, but cater to distinct needs. Razorpay focuses on optimizing the checkout flow for increased conversions and reduced Return to Origin (RTO) rates, particularly in regions where Cash on Delivery (COD) is prevalent. It leverages AI for address auto-fill, payment suggestions, and risk assessment, providing a seamless and secure experience, while offering customization options for branding. Shipping Rates & Rule ‑ Shipfy, on the other hand, centers on granular control over shipping rates and rules, enabling merchants to tailor shipping options based on various conditions like customer tags, product categories, and geographic location. It also allows for hiding, renaming, and reordering shipping methods, catering to complex shipping scenarios. While Razorpay aims at a broad audience with a focus on conversion, Shipfy targets merchants with specific and often intricate shipping requirements.

Our Verdict
Merchants primarily concerned with increasing checkout conversions, reducing RTO, and streamlining the payment process, especially in COD-heavy markets, should consider Razorpay COD & Magic Checkout. Its AI-powered features and focus on a seamless customer experience make it a valuable tool for optimizing the checkout funnel. However, the lower rating and fewer reviews should be noted. Merchants with complex or very specific shipping needs—such as offering specialized rates based on customer tags, blocking PO boxes, or scheduling deliveries—will find Shipping Rates & Rule ‑ Shipfy to be the better choice. The app provides granular control and customization options to manage shipping scenarios that are not addressed by a general checkout optimization app.
