Our Verdict
For standard Shopify merchants aiming to enhance their checkout flow, reduce RTOs (especially if COD is prevalent), and improve conversion rates, Razorpay COD & Magic Checkout is the more relevant choice. Its focus on optimizing the entire checkout process, along with features like AI-powered autofill and intelligent COD enablement, makes it a compelling option. However, for Shopify Plus merchants specifically wanting to customize the post-purchase experience (Order Status and Thank You pages) and leverage advanced checkout customization (only available on Shopify Plus), Shopify Checkout Blocks is the clear winner, although a higher budget and complex customization skills are required.
