Reputon eBay Importer vs SPD: Google Shopping Feedfor Shopify (2026)
Reputon eBay Importer and SPD: Google Shopping Feed serve distinctly different purposes for Shopify merchants. Reputon eBay Importer focuses on simplifying the process of importing products from eBay to a Shopify store, targeting merchants who are dropshipping, running affiliate stores, or expanding their product offerings by sourcing from eBay. Its strength lies in its direct eBay integration, including auto-sync of price and stock, and bulk importing capabilities. Conversely, SPD: Google Shopping Feed aims to streamline the synchronization of a Shopify store's existing products with Google Merchant Center, appealing to merchants focused on increasing product visibility and driving sales through Google Shopping. While Reputon eBay Importer boasts a perfect 5/5 rating and a larger number of reviews, indicating potentially stronger user satisfaction and reliability within its specific niche, SPD: Google Shopping Feed addresses a completely different aspect of e-commerce management. It enables merchants to manage their Google Shopping feeds, filter products, and edit product information directly within the app. A key limitation of SPD is that it only allows up to 1,000 product syncs, possibly impacting stores with large catalogs. Both apps cater to merchants looking to save time and scale faster. However, one focuses on sourcing products, and the other focuses on advertising existing products on Google Shopping.

Our Verdict
The choice between Reputon eBay Importer and SPD: Google Shopping Feed depends entirely on the merchant's needs. If the goal is to quickly populate a Shopify store with products sourced from eBay, particularly for dropshipping or affiliate marketing, then Reputon eBay Importer is the clear winner. Its auto-sync and bulk import features significantly streamline this process.
However, if the merchant already has a product catalog on Shopify and aims to boost sales through Google Shopping, then SPD: Google Shopping Feed is the more appropriate solution. Its features tailored for Google Shopping integration, such as feed management and product filtering, make it a valuable tool for reaching a wider audience, as long as the merchant has less than 1,000 products. If a merchant requires *both* features, these tools are not interchangeable and both apps are needed. A store with a large product catalog should avoid the latter, while an eBay dropshipper should avoid the former.
