Our Verdict
Retention X, with its robust suite of features and high rating (5/5 with 118 reviews), appears to be the better choice for established e-commerce businesses that require in-depth customer analytics, attribution modeling, and advanced marketing automation capabilities. Its 'E-Commerce Growth OS' approach makes it ideal for merchants who are comfortable with a more complex platform and want a unified solution to manage various aspects of customer interaction and marketing spend. Viral Loops, despite its lower rating (1.7/5 with only 3 reviews), might be suitable for smaller or newer stores that are primarily interested in quickly implementing a referral program. Its ease of use and customizable templates could be advantageous for merchants with limited technical expertise or those who want to focus solely on referral-based growth.
