Our Verdict
For merchants seeking granular control over their return policies, handling potentially high volumes of returns, and prioritizing cost savings by avoiding per-return fees, ReturnZap Returns & Exchanges appears to be the stronger choice. The advanced exchange options and custom policy enforcement offer more flexibility.
However, if the priority is ease of use, a strong mobile returns experience through the Shop app, and integration with existing business systems like ERP or CRM, Rich Returns & Exchanges likely provides a better fit. Their focus on automatic rules and a simple branded portal can streamline the process for both merchants and customers, especially if mobile is a major sales channel.
