Reveal: Customer Data & NPS vs Thingtestingfor Shopify (2026)
Reveal: Customer Data & NPS and Thingtesting both aim to improve the merchant's understanding of their customers through surveys, but their approaches and target audiences differ significantly. Reveal focuses on comprehensive customer data analysis using RFM (Recency, Frequency, Monetary Value) segmentation and NPS (Net Promoter Score) to drive retention and acquisition strategies. It positions itself as an advanced eCommerce solution for businesses seeking growth through data-driven insights, targeting merchants who need to optimize their business model, ad campaigns, and product performance. In contrast, Thingtesting, with a single review, seems to be in a much earlier stage. Its focus, while sharing the 'Surveys' category, is unclear from the provided data.

Our Verdict
Based on the available information, Reveal: Customer Data & NPS appears to be a more robust and mature solution for Shopify merchants seeking in-depth customer data analysis and actionable insights to improve their business. Its features like RFM segmentation, NPS surveys, and buying habits reports provide a comprehensive view of customer behavior. Thingtesting, with significantly fewer reviews and limited information, is harder to assess. Unless Thingtesting offers a very specific survey feature not covered by Reveal, Reveal is generally the stronger choice for merchants who want data-driven insights and growth. Thingtesting may be suitable for basic, limited survey needs or smaller businesses looking for a simpler initial solution if it's cheaper.
