Ringly.io ‑ AI Phone Support vs UserLoop Surveys & Feedbackfor Shopify (2026)
Ringly.io and UserLoop are both highly rated Shopify apps in the 'Support - Other' category, but they cater to fundamentally different needs. Ringly.io focuses on providing AI-powered phone support to automate common customer service tasks like order tracking and returns, primarily targeting larger Shopify stores with significant call volumes (1,000+ monthly). Its strength lies in its automation of phone-based customer interactions and seamless integration into the existing Shopify store for order and return information. UserLoop, conversely, is all about gathering and analyzing customer feedback through surveys, quizzes, and video testimonials. It provides tools to create engaging surveys, analyze responses with AI, and leverage that feedback to improve products and the overall customer experience. This app is designed for merchants seeking to understand their customers better and use feedback to drive growth. The feature set includes AI question writing, multi-language support, and professional PDF reports to track customer satisfaction and segments. The video testimonials is a unique and powerful feature for social proof. While both apps utilize AI, Ringly.io does so to directly manage and resolve customer service inquiries, while UserLoop uses it for feedback analysis and question generation. The 'support' category is shared, but the function they perform is divergent.

Our Verdict
The choice between Ringly.io and UserLoop depends entirely on the specific needs of the Shopify merchant. Ringly.io is the clear choice for larger stores overwhelmed by phone support requests. Its automation of order tracking and returns can significantly reduce the burden on customer service teams. The low setup time also gives it an advantage. However, the single review suggests caution and a careful trial period before committing.
UserLoop is ideal for merchants looking to deeply understand their customers and proactively improve their products and services. The all-in-one platform, AI-powered insights, and video testimonial features make it a valuable tool for gathering actionable feedback. The significantly higher number of reviews also adds confidence. Smaller merchants and startups would benefit most from UserLoop’s data and insights to optimize product market fit. Larger companies may benefit from UserLoop also, but its value diminishes as they would generally already understand their clients.
