RT: Smooth Scroll To Top vs Visual Searchfor Shopify (2026)
RT: Smooth Scroll To Top and Visual Search cater to fundamentally different needs within a Shopify store. Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants seeking a quick and simple solution to enhance website navigation and address the absence of a scroll-to-top function in their theme, RT: Smooth Scroll To Top is the clear choice. Its ease of use and positive user reviews make it a low-risk investment. However, if a merchant is facing challenges with product discovery, especially those with visually driven products, Visual Search offers a more comprehensive solution. While its rating is lower and review count is less, its AI-powered features and potential to increase sales and conversion rates may be worth the investment, especially for merchants in the fashion, home decor, or accessories industries.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
RT: Smooth Scroll To Top likely offers a simpler setup, requiring only one click to install and minimal customization. Visual Search, while claiming seamless integration, involves catalog syncing and AI analysis, potentially requiring more configuration.
Which app is more suitable for a store with primarily text-based products?
RT: Smooth Scroll To Top is the better option. Visual Search is designed for stores where visual product discovery is crucial, such as fashion or home decor.
Which app is more likely to increase conversion rates?
Visual Search explicitly aims to increase conversion rates by providing a more engaging and intuitive search experience. RT: Smooth Scroll To Top contributes indirectly by improving usability.
What if my theme already has a scroll-to-top function?
If your theme already has a functional scroll-to-top feature, RT: Smooth Scroll To Top would be redundant. Visual Search, however, provides a completely different functionality regardless of your theme.
How do I choose between them if I have a limited budget?
