Rubik Variant Images & Swatch and Smart Size Chart & Size Guide are both highly-rated (5/5) Shopify apps, but cater to distinct needs. Rubik focuses on visual product presentation by allowing merchants to display multiple images for each product variant, including color swatches and image variants. This aims to improve the customer experience by showcasing accurate product representations based on selected options, potentially decreasing returns and increasing conversions. The app is designed specifically for shops selling products with visually distinct variants, like clothing or electronics in multiple colors or styles. Our Verdict
Merchants should choose Rubik Variant Images & Swatch if they sell products where visual representation of variants is essential. For example, a clothing store selling the same shirt in multiple colors would benefit greatly from showcasing the different color options with distinct images and color swatches. If a merchant's store suffers from high return rates due to sizing issues, or if they sell apparel, footwear, or jewelry, Smart Size Chart & Size Guide is the more appropriate choice. While both apps aim to reduce returns, they address different underlying problems. Stores might even benefit from using both apps if they sell products where both visual variance and sizing are key concerns.
