Rubik Variant Images & Swatch vs Vizup ‑ Shoppable Video Sliderfor Shopify (2026)
Rubik Variant Images & Swatch and Vizup ‑ Shoppable Video Slider are both well-regarded Shopify apps, each boasting a perfect 5/5 rating. However, they cater to very different needs. Rubik focuses on enhancing the product browsing experience by allowing merchants to display multiple images for each product variant, including color swatches. This aims to improve conversions by providing a clear and comprehensive view of available options, while also decreasing returns through accurate visual representation. It is positioned as an alternative to variant image automator apps. Vizup, on the other hand, targets merchants looking to leverage the power of video marketing. It allows merchants to easily embed shoppable videos, video sliders, and video carousels across their store, pulling in video testimonials, product demonstrations, and even importing content from Instagram Reels. It's specifically aimed at fashion brands and those looking to build trust and drive sales through engaging video content. The focus is on showcasing products in action and creating a more immersive shopping experience. The categorization overlap is that they both work with image *and* media, one still images and the other video.
