Our Verdict
For merchants who already understand the importance of schema markup and want fine-grained control over this aspect of SEO, SA SEO JSON‑LD Schema markup might be a suitable choice. However, given its low review count and rating, it would be prudent to proceed with caution and possibly seek out more user feedback before committing.
On the other hand, Sherpas: Smart SEO is the clear recommendation for most Shopify merchants in 2026, especially those new to SEO or looking for a comprehensive, user-friendly solution. Its higher rating, large number of reviews, AI-powered features, and broad scope make it a more reliable and effective option for improving overall SEO performance. The automation and AI capabilities would be highly valuable to time-strapped merchants who need to improve their rankings without becoming SEO experts.
