Our Verdict
Based on the available information, Singleton | Verify Customers is the clear choice for merchants needing to control access to pricing and purchasing based on customer verification. Its strong rating and numerous reviews indicate a reliable and well-received app. SampleFirst ‑ Try & Buy, with no reviews or detailed description, presents a significant risk. Unless the merchant has specific knowledge or prior experience with SampleFirst, Singleton is the recommended option for businesses prioritizing customer validation and restricted access to product information.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Without information on SampleFirst's setup process, it's impossible to determine. Singleton likely requires initial configuration of registration fields and approval workflows, suggesting a moderate level of setup complexity.
Which app is better for a B2B store?
Singleton | Verify Customers is explicitly designed for controlling customer access, making it a strong fit for B2B stores needing to validate business accounts before revealing pricing and purchasing options.
Which app focuses more on customer acquisition?
Neither app explicitly focuses on customer acquisition. However, SampleFirst's 'try & buy' concept *could* be used as an acquisition tool if implemented effectively. This is speculation based on the name alone.
Does SampleFirst allow me to control who sees my product prices?
The app description is unavailable, thus there's no support to that claim. Singleton does explicitly allow hiding prices and add to cart buttons from not approved customers.
Which app is more reliable in 2026?
Singleton, with its established user base (78 reviews) and high rating (5/5), appears to be the more reliable choice. SampleFirst's lack of reviews raises concerns about its stability and support in 2026.
