Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants needing a robust and all-encompassing customer support system with a focus on self-service and multi-channel ticketing, SB: Helpdesk Ticketing & FAQs is the better option. The higher review count suggests greater reliability and a more established user base. It provides tools for managing FAQs, creating product tabs, and centralizing support tickets from various channels.
However, merchants primarily focused on driving sales and automating customer interaction through AI-powered chat should consider Verifast AI Chatbot +Sales Bot. While it has fewer reviews, the perfect rating indicates high user satisfaction, and its core strength lies in leveraging AI for sales automation and immediate customer engagement. It is important to consider the focus of your store to see which feature set aligns best with the store's vision.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Without hands-on experience, it's difficult to definitively say. SB: Helpdesk offers pre-built templates which might simplify initial setup. Verifast AI Chatbot's AI component could automate parts of the configuration process. User reviews (specifically regarding ease of setup) should be considered to decide.
Which app is better for reducing support ticket volume?
SB: Helpdesk, with its focus on comprehensive FAQs and self-service widgets, is likely more effective at deflecting common inquiries and reducing support ticket volume. Verifast AI Chatbot can address some inquiries, but its primary focus is on driving sales.
Which app is better for small stores with limited support resources?
Both apps offer value, but Verifast AI Chatbot's automation capabilities could be more appealing for small stores. The AI can handle a larger volume of initial questions, freeing up more limited resources. SB: Helpdesk may be better if those limited resources are more focused on in-depth answers.
Which app offers better value for money?
Value for money depends on the store's specific needs. SB: Helpdesk offers a broader feature set, making it a better value if those features are actively used. Verifast AI Chatbot may be a better value if the primary goal is sales automation and the budget is limited.
If I need both AI chat and a full helpdesk, do I need both apps?
Potentially. First carefully assess if SB: Helpdesk's chatbot features are sufficient for your needs. If a deeper level of AI-driven conversation and sales focus is required, then using both apps for complementary functionality is worth consideration.
