SB Request a Quote, Hide Price vs Wholesale Pricing Discount B2Bfor Shopify (2026)
SB Request a Quote, Hide Price and Wholesale Pricing Discount B2B both cater to B2B merchants seeking advanced pricing solutions on Shopify, but their core focuses differ. SB Request a Quote prioritizes lead generation and personalized pricing via a Request a Quote system, bolstered by AI-driven lead scoring and tight integration with marketing automation platforms. Its strength lies in enabling price negotiation and customized quote generation for complex or high-value products where immediate pricing isn't suitable or desirable. Wholesale Pricing Discount, on the other hand, is designed for broader wholesale management, enabling merchants to offer tiered pricing, volume discounts, and custom pricing structures to registered B2B customers while maintaining retail pricing for B2C sales. It focuses on operational aspects such as B2B registration, shipping, and tax management. This makes it a more comprehensive solution for managing a wholesale business alongside a retail storefront, whereas SB Request a Quote is laser-focused on the quote generation process. Their integration ecosystems also differ, with SB focusing more on marketing integrations and WPD emphasizing integrations with Shopify POS and B2B page builders.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with generating leads and handling complex, negotiable pricing for specific products, SB Request a Quote, Hide Price is likely the better choice. The AI lead scoring and marketing integrations are particularly valuable. If, however, the merchant's needs center on establishing comprehensive wholesale pricing structures, managing B2B customer accounts, and integrating with point-of-sale systems, Wholesale Pricing Discount B2B provides a more robust solution for managing the entire wholesale operation.
Specifically, if you need 'hide price' functionality and want a direct, guided interaction with customers before they purchase (especially for configurable or very expensive items) choose the SB app. If you want to allow users to self-serve their wholesale experience with tiered pricing, chose the WPD app.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to use for a beginner?
Based on the features listed, both apps provide specific configurations that might require a learning curve. However, Wholesale Pricing Discount B2B, with its broader scope, may require more initial setup for features like B2B registration and shipping rates. SB Request a Quote's focus on quote management may make it easier to initially configure for the core functionality of hiding prices and generating quotes.
Which app is better for a small business with limited marketing resources?
SB Request a Quote's AI lead scoring feature can help small businesses prioritize their sales efforts and focus on the most promising leads, even with limited marketing resources. Its integrations with marketing automation platforms allow for streamlined communication and follow-up with potential customers.
Does either app support multi-currency pricing?
Wholesale Pricing Discount B2B explicitly mentions multi-currency support through Shopify Markets integration. While SB Request a Quote does not explicitly state multi-currency support, it's possible that it can be achieved through integration with other Shopify apps or custom development, though this is not guaranteed based on the provided information.
Which app is better if I want to run both a B2C and B2B business from the same Shopify store?
Wholesale Pricing Discount B2B is specifically designed for selling both retail (B2C) and wholesale (B2B) from the same store. It allows you to set flexible B2B discounts while keeping retail pricing intact. SB Request a Quote, while compatible, is less directly geared towards handling both business models simultaneously and more focused on the quote generation aspect.
Can both apps integrate with my existing CRM system?
SB Request a Quote boasts direct integrations with several CRM and marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Mailchimp, and Klaviyo. Wholesale Pricing Discount B2B does not specifically list CRM integrations but offers '3rd party integrations', suggesting potential for CRM integration via other apps or custom connections, but is not directly supported out-of-the-box to the degree of SB.
