Our Verdict
If a merchant's primary goal is to guide customers to their brick-and-mortar stores, SC Store Locator Map is the clear winner. Its focus on location discovery and ease of use makes it ideal for businesses with physical storefronts aiming to increase foot traffic. However, if a merchant needs robust shipping rate customization, particularly based on location, product attributes, or delivery date, and they offer local delivery/store pickup with time slots, Shipping & Delivery - ShipZip is the superior choice. It sacrifices some simplicity for powerful shipping control features.
Common Questions
Which app is better for increasing in-store sales?
SC Store Locator Map is specifically designed to drive foot traffic to physical stores by making it easy for customers to find nearby locations. Shipping & Delivery - ShipZip focuses on optimizing shipping rates, not necessarily driving customers to a physical store.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Based on the descriptions, SC Store Locator Map likely offers a simpler setup with its map templates and focus on managing locations. Shipping & Delivery - ShipZip, with its complex shipping rules, might require more configuration.
Can I use both apps together?

This would require careful configuration and may not be necessary for all businesses.
Which app handles a larger number of locations?
