Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing comprehensive website accessibility and legal compliance, Scanify ‑ Accessibility Scan is the intended choice, provided they are prepared to address the issues identified by its scans. However, the lack of reviews is a significant risk factor in 2026. Merchants heavily reliant on visual search and seeking a simple way to improve product image SEO, especially those with many product variants, should opt for Variant Alt Text King: SEO. The 5-star rating and 20 reviews suggest a well-received product that delivers on its promise. The key is that a focus solely on image alt text won't deliver broader web accessibility compliance. Consider using both apps together; Variant Alt Text King: SEO to optimize images, combined with Scanify ‑ Accessibility Scan (if a track record develops) for a comprehensive accessibility review.
