It boasts an established reputation with a perfect 5/5 rating based on 34 reviews, and emphasizes a "white-glove service" for organic integration into the theme. Visely seems geared towards merchants who prioritize a smooth, proven solution with customizable filters and recommendations. Searchy: AI Search and Filter, on the other hand, leans heavily into AI-powered search capabilities, emphasizing its use of natural language understanding, image recognition, and multilingual support to offer a more innovative search experience. Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a reliable, customizable search solution with a proven track record, Search & Discovery ‑ Visely appears to be the safer choice. Its positive rating and focus on user engagement make it a compelling option for those prioritizing immediate results and a smoother integration process. Visely appears best if a business needs a highly customizable solution and is less focused on novel AI features.
However, for merchants willing to take a risk on a newer technology and who prioritize advanced search capabilities like multilingual support and image recognition, Searchy: AI Search and Filter may be a worthwhile investment. This app might particularly appeal to stores with a large international customer base or complex product catalogs where AI-powered search can provide a significant advantage. Its edge-function architecture may also attract merchants focused on SEO and page speed optimization, though performance needs to be independently verified.
