Search & Discovery ‑ Visely vs Voice Search ‑ Speakyfor Shopify (2026)
Search & Discovery - Visely and Voice Search - Speaky both aim to improve search functionality on Shopify stores, but they approach this goal from vastly different angles. Visely focuses on comprehensive search and discovery enhancements, including tailored filters, recommendations, and customization options for a richer user experience. Speaky, conversely, provides a streamlined voice search solution designed for ease of use and accessibility. Visely is built for merchants seeking to deeply optimize their site's search and product discovery mechanisms, while Speaky caters to those who want to offer a quick and convenient voice search feature, particularly for mobile users or those with accessibility needs. Visely offers a suite of features designed to increase user engagement and sales by improving the search and product discovery experience. Key to this is its ability to tailor filters, offer relevant recommendations, and customize the user experience. In contrast, Speaky's value proposition lies in its simplicity and ease of implementation, offering a one-click integration with many themes. Its focus is solely on enabling voice search, thus targeting merchants who prioritize this specific functionality over broader search optimization capabilities. The number of reviews strongly suggests Visely is a more established and widely adopted app.

Our Verdict
For merchants needing a complete search solution with granular control over filters, recommendations, and user experience, Search & Discovery - Visely is the clear choice. Its comprehensive feature set and customization options enable a deeply optimized search experience. While Speaky is easier to setup, its focus is narrower.
Voice Search - Speaky is better suited for merchants who specifically want to offer voice search as an accessibility feature and are looking for a quick and easy integration. If voice search is a 'must-have' but comprehensive search optimization is not, then Speaky is likely sufficient. However, given the small number of reviews, it's advisable to thoroughly test Speaky with your specific theme before committing to it long term.
