Our Verdict
If a merchant's primary concern is improving the discoverability of their products on their website, then Searchspring might be a valuable tool. However, if the merchant already has a subscription model in place, or is looking to introduce one, and wants to maximize customer lifetime value and reduce churn, then Skio Subscriptions (YC S20) appears to be the superior choice. Its high rating, significant number of reviews, and focus on customer retention features make it the stronger option for subscription-based businesses. Skio's emphasis on seamless migration and automated journeys further strengthens its position as a comprehensive solution.
For stores just starting out with subscriptions or those with basic needs, the complexity of Skio might be overwhelming. However, for established brands seeking to level up their subscription strategy, Skio's features and focus on LTV and churn make it the clear recommendation.
